BioTo support my food and shelter habit, I spent 15 years writing professionally about music and culture. Now I do altruistic crap to make the planet a less shitty place to live in. When I'm not busy with that, I write this journal about the strange and beautiful underground writing movement called fan fiction.
I recommend sites, stories, authors and archives that show great talent and imagination. I trash what deserves trashing. I support fan creativity and the fans' right to parody, pastiche and play with the ideas, themes, storylines and characters that they have made into cultural phenomena.
I reserve the right to alert readers of plagiarists who steal stories written by other fan authors. I support slash fiction. I will check out any site or story in any fandom except for the following: rolo, rogan, romy, potter, lotr, anime or hentai, bandfic, real people fan fiction, rpg, anything with too many wizards or unicorns or dragons, buffy cross-overs and sites that specifically exclude slash.
